Job Description:

Primary Functions:

Prepares the line and assists in safe and efficient production by following the Machine Operator’s instructions, performing visual quality checks during material processing, and assuring the proper discharge of processed materials to help the Machine Operator process material in accordance with company, customer and/or product specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists Slitter Operator to prepare processing line for production run.


• Monitors slitting process for possible defects. Drop of coil in and out of pit, and take up off finished coil.


• Bands finished coils as directed by Slitter Operator.


• Operates table and mechanical equipment to remove finished coils to turnstyle table for final packaging.


• Assists banding line operator in moving finished coils to turnstyle table for final packaging


• Assists slitter Operator in the completion of SL's and logs.


• 
  Performs all other related duties as assigned.
  
   

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Requires less than 1 year of job related experience


• Ability to use: Computer, Hand Tools, Forklift, and Tape Measure
