Kiddie Academy is seeking an Academy Designer to perform a wide variety of duties to coordinate and implement the construction process, including: initial space plan for all new academies, participation in conference calls, and respond to franchisee and contractor request for information (“RFI”). This position reports to the Vice President of Construction.

The essential functions of this position include:


  • Work directly with franchisee on design of the interior space (“Concept Plan”) and playground area

  • Provide real estate team with concept plans for potential sites

  • Provide equipment and emergency evacuation plans, and play plan layout

  • Assist operating locations with improvement designs

  • Participate in regularly scheduled conference calls with franchisees

  • Assist Project Manager with project tracking

  • Foster and help maintain good relationships with franchisees, landlords and vendors.

The ideal candidate will:


  • Be proficient with the latest business software regarding office and project management including Revit, CAD, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Power Point 

  • Possess experience working with other architectural design platforms

  • Be experienced with time tracking software

  • Hold a bachelor's degree or certification in design preferred, or have equivalent and related job experience
