Job Description:

Brann & Isaacson is seeking an experienced accounting assistant to join its administrative team. Primary responsibilities include payment processing, deposits, accounts payable, payroll processing, and general accounting support. This position reports to the Firm Administrator. Brann & Isaacson is a 20 attorney law firm with a sophisticated national practice.
**Essential Responsibilities:**
Process payments and deposits, prepare checks and transfers for accounts payable, prepare and post journal entries while following established internal procedures and policies.
Accurately process bi-weekly payroll in compliance with internal policies and procedures, and labor and tax laws. Maintain payroll records. Track and maintain PTO records. Work with third party payroll vendor on adjustments/payroll processing. Ensure staff coverage and scheduling of PTO. Review and reconcile benefit invoices for payroll deductions. Provide general instruction on payroll software to users. Prepare reports for payroll related payments and associated general journal entries.
