Source, screen, and select candidates for positions within the company.
May develop staffing plans and programs, attend career fairs, develop or place advertisements, college outreach programs, etc.
Identifies and responds to current and projected staffing requirements in conjunction with and in support of the company leadership team.
Develops professional recruiting networks capable of responding to rapid staffing needs and changes. Builds and maintains professional business relationships with customers.
Works with the leadership team and customers to develop, edit, and advertise job descriptions.
Performs pre-screening and refers qualified candidates to fill job openings. Assesses company staffing needs to meet customer requirements.
Performs human resource tasks (recruiting, the application process, interviewing).
Listens to business customers requirements and translates into an actionable process to identify qualified candidates. Pre-screens candidates and assesses suitability and interest in employer positions.
Schedules escorts, and presents candidates to customers in formal interview settings. Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity.
May schedule interviews with candidates; coordinates all details of interviews including travel arrangements.
Maintains local job boards and assists with sourcing candidates.
Maintains the site Applicant Tracking System (ATS) candidate records; creates and runs weekly tracking reports.
Supports Maintaintaince of records on applicant flow and outreach efforts. Sends and receives applications and maintains the job requisition database to reflect candidate status.
May assist HR with employment offer letters and the new hire process.
May work with candidates to answer questions during the hiring process.
May conduct phone screens and initial interviews, as well as reference checks. Assists with job fairs and college recruiting activities as necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Must demonstrate a strong background and experience with candidate sourcing, recruitment, and the hiring process, onboarding, and candidate placement.
Experienced with frequent use and application of technical recruitment standards, principles, and theories.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent) with 2 - 4 years of experience, or a Master's with 0-2 years of experience; or High school diploma (or equivalent) with 5-8 years of experience or advanced training.
Must demonstrate excellent written and communication skills.
Experience with frequent use of email, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Preferred Qualifications:
Local (El Paso area) experience in the Government Contracting Industry
Recruitment experience/familiarity with maintenance, warehousing, and logistics positions and personnel
Experience using Paycom Applicant Tracking System
Experience in Microsoft Publisher or other publishing software
