We are currently accepting applications for an Assistant Manager position at our Spring Oaks Apartment community in Balch Springs, Texas. Qualified applicants must have at least one year of LIHTC experience and one year of experience in property management. This full-time position requires availability Monday through Friday. Successful applicants will gain valuable expertise in the multifamily housing industry within a growing company with opportunities for advancement as skills expand. No weekends required!

The successful assistant manager will:

• Perform activities related to apartment rental and renewal: Providing apartment tours; Qualifying prospective residents; Preparing LIHTC documentation; Completing move-in procedures; Meeting with current residents regarding lease renewal and rates
• Maintain excellent resident relations: Provide superior customer service; Work with residents to provide solutions; Assist in the planning and participation of all resident monthly events and added services.
• Represent the property community in a positive manner and convey the benefits of the community to prospective residents
• Proactively participate in the team effort to accomplish desired results

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Minimum of one year in property management required
• Minimum of one year of LIHTC experience required
• Excellent customer service and follow-up skills a must
• Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and the general public
• Follow directions and work independently
• Basic computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office
• Must have basic understanding of the English language, and be able to communicate effectively and professionally
