\r\n Job Summary:
\r\n +Directs the daily operations of Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (PRTF), assuring the quality of services provided follow programmatic, administrative and regulatory policies and procedures.
\r\n +Makes programmatic and administrative recommendations in accordance with Agency/program goals and objectives.
\r\n +Maintains the facilities therapeutic milieu and assures that appropriate treatment plans are developed and implemented.
\r\n +Supervises staff including hiring decisions, training, evaluation, and scheduling.
\r\n +Plans and coordinates admissions to PRTF.
\r\n\r\n
EDUCATION and applicable KENTUCKY PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE requirements:
\r\n\r\n
+ Licensed Psychologist : Meaning a psychological practitioner, a certified psychologist, or a psychological associate; or
\r\n\r\n
+ Licensed Registered Nurse :
\r\n\r\n
1. With a master's degree in psychiatric nursing from an accredited institution and two (2) years of clinical experience with mentally ill persons; or
\r\n\r\n
2. With a bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution, who is certified as a psychiatric and mental health nurse by the American Nurses Association and with experience as described below in the experience section; or
\r\n\r\n
+ Master's Level Social Worker, licensed as a
\r\n\r\n
1. Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW); or
\r\n\r\n
2. Clinical social worker (CSW) with experience as described below in the experience section.
\r\n\r\n
+ Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Marriage and Family Therapy Associate with experience as described below in the experience section; or
\r\n\r\n
+ Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with experience as described below in the experience section.
\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n
EXPERIENCE requirements for licensed disciplines, as indicated above:
\r\n\r\n
+ Three (3) years of inpatient or outpatient clinical experience in psychiatric mental health practice.
\r\n + Must possess a valid driver's license, and have access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance.
\r\n + Ability to be on call on a rotating basis to make clinical decisions and may work in direct care capacity as needed
\r\n

\r\nRelocation is not provided and travel is occassionally required.
\r\n
