The Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) is responsible for providing responsive, flexible full-spectrum installation engineering services. AFCEC's missions include facility investment planning, design and construction, operations support, real property management, energy support, environmental compliance and restoration, and audit assertions, acquisition and program management. The unit conducts its operations at more than 75 locations worldwide.

CNSP is looking for a technical writer and event planner to support the Air Forces' MILCON and Facility Sustainment Restoration and Modernization (FSRM) programs. The candidate selected for this position will perform a broad range of document preparation, presentation development, and event planning for a variety of design and construction requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Management of SharePoint Sites
  • Organize training and other large scale events
  • Prepare powerpoint presentations
  • Interact with government personnel
  • Draft formal memos
  • Validate project data and perform updates in various government systems including but not limited, Tririga and ACES-PM

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

None

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


  • 10 years' combined experience in technical writing and event planning
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Experience with Air Force Civil Engineering program desired
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with Webinar development

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge with Microsoft suite, highly proficient in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge in Adobe Acrobat including form development and maintenance
  • Knowledge planning and hosting large scale events including topic development, branding, competitive venue selection, logistics, and cost reporting
