Work Hours/Shift:
Full-Time, Monday – Friday
You Will Be Responsible For:
Work independently on large scale initiatives in conjunction with sourcing managers and directors to find cost savings for the organization.
Provide significant analytical input into the strategy and scope of initiatives.
Uses intuition and experience to complement data, ensure data integrity, and accuracy by spotting anomalies in data and communicating that with end users.
Complete analyses in a timely fashion and communicate any roadblocks that may hinder timely delivery of data.
Demonstrate ownership of monthly analyses and provide support to end users of said analyses.
Identify data relationships and dependencies.
Summarize findings, and deliver reports that are logical, visually pleasing, and aid in the decision making process.
Use product knowledge to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university or college
2-5 years’ experience working in data analytics or related field.
Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Related Major
Master’s degree in related field
2-5 years’ experience working in Supply Chain
Job Summary: The Supply Chain Analyst – Intermediate provides comprehensive analytical support to the Decision Support Manager as well as Strategic Sourcing Managers. The Supply Chain Analyst – Intermediate provides timely analyses (whether standard or ad hoc), reviews contract pricing accuracy, keeps data updated, monitors workflow to ensure data accuracy and integrity, displays technical competency working from various data sources, demonstrates a high degree of independence and ownership of projects, and summarizes data in visually appealing presentations for decision making. The Intermediate Analyst should possess knowledge of both products and Supply Chain processes that enable them to have a big picture perspective of the Supply Chain strategy as it is used to further organizational goals and objectives.
