JPMC's Cyber Security & Tech Controls (CTC) Product team builds, enhances, and sustains a suite of consumable products that defend the bank against Cyber threats. It is the responsibility of the collective product team to contribute to shared product outcomes within the overall context of the product strategy. Working together we form the complete \"tribe\" as custodians of product strategy, solution and enterprise architecture, core engineering, API enablement, prioritization and execution of complex change portfolios, stability, sustainability and control effectiveness.
The Technical Product Manager (TPM) plays a key senior role leading the Software & Platform Enablement portfolio of Security Products aligned to a common set of threat response capabilities and stakeholders. The Software & Platform Enablement area is responsible for products that empower JPMC's developers to deliver secure code faster. We focus on our customers, making data driven decisions, being great product managers, evangelizing continuously, and expediting product execution. The TPM wears many hats, and requires the ability to be both strategic and operational. The TPM is responsible for setting and evangelizing the vision that achieves business objectives, and manages the team of Product Owners that brings the vision forward. Consistent engagement with senior executive and front-line stakeholders is paramount to build consensus and drive decisions. Each TPM is partnered with an Engineering Lead who drives the technical agenda and workforce in delivering against the Product roadmap.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of Product Owners to define, market and drive a defense-in-depth product strategy delivering sustainable, consumable, and effective controls.
Maintains a control framework to represent and continuously measure the collective suite of controls in the Area Product.
Partner with line of business leaders to understand business pipelines and challenges, and ensure roadmap is addressing and enabling the business agenda.
Build vendor management framework to ensure existing and developing products are continually evaluated and influence based on JP Morgan needs and the changing threat landscape.
Work closely with Enterprise technology leadership to partner on Firmwide product roadmaps and ensure day to day activities have the appropriate priority and alignment to strategy.
Responsible for the Area Product P&L, and driving an efficiency agenda to maximize ROI.
Lead regulator and audit engagement and product readiness.
Required Skills/Experience
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of progressive technology experience, including 5+ years of technical product delivery and management
Technical depth in Cloud Security, Mobile Security, Application Security and/or Secure Platform Engineering.
Proven experience providing roadmaps, product overviews, reports, backlog and documentation for enterprise technology solutions.
Expertise in all elements of the Security Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
Ability to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the Application Security threat landscape as well as the market landscape, trends and offerings
Experience with leading projects/programs through all phases of a software development lifecycle
Knowledge of tiered application architectures, web applications, APIs, mobile applications, desktop applications, and the underlying technology of cloud infrastructure
Experience securing platform web APIs
Versed with recent versions of the OWASP Top Ten for web application security
Ability to translate business requirements to technology architecture plans
Experience delivering within cloud based environments & applications
Experience in continuous delivery using Agile delivery concepts and toolkits
Strategically oriented with the ability to influence, negotiate and overcome barriers to execute against strategic plans
Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of a large enterprise organization.
Seasoned command of multiple disciplines, optimizing Cybersecurity products and services through the lifecycle
Recognized expertise in Cybersecurity and Agile, creating competitive advantage through the application of leading-edge technologies and methodologies
Expertise in working in partnership with colleagues throughout the firm, and in leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals
