The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Cloud Platform Lead for Windows, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Support Windows system and environments including AWS Windows deployments, Microsoft Cluster Server, HADR solutions, and integration with continuous deployment pipelines.


• Own Windows platform engineering roadmap; integrating voice of customer from stakeholders and focus groups.


• Create Cloud Formation templates and automation to improve processes.


• Work as a member of infrastructure engineering responsible to design, develop and operate cloud platforms which runs 24x7

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Three (3) years of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with Microsoft Windows, AWS Cloud solutions and / or AWS solutions architect certification


• Five years of experience in infrastructure systems design and engineering (Linux, Windows, Microsoft Cluster Server)


• Proficiency in at least three of the following: CFT, ARM, Python, PowerShell, Bash, Node.js, Java, Javascript, C#


• Working knowledge of the TCP/IP networking, load balancing principles, infrastructure management concepts, and common Internet services/protocols such as DNS, LDAP, HTTP.


• Knowledge of modern software configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, Jenkins)

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
