Job Description:

Nystrom & Associates, Ltd.is a team of mental health professionals that specialize in psychiatric evaluations, clinical social work, and family therapy. We are committed to helping patients in our community who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems. Founded in 1991, we offer an intensive outpatient chemical dependency program, psychological testing, and behavioral health and medication management services.
We are currently seekingonefull-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)forour Sartell clinic!In this role, you would work with our Psychiatric department and medication providers,return calls to patients regarding side effects of medications, refill medication to area pharmacies, and call insurance companies for verification on medications, completing forms and any necessary authorizations for medications.
Other duties include the following:
Triaging calls from patientsTaking calls for lab resultsTriages incoming lab results, medical reports, refill requests, etc. to MD/CNS/PA in a timely fashion to completionFollows policies and procedures of Nystrom and Associates, Ltd. (NAL)Works under the management direction of the LPN Supervisor and daily clinical direction of medical providers and the Medical DirectorMaintains legible and organized patient records in accordance with policy of NAL and requirements of the State of Minnesota

Job Requirements:
Unrestricted nursing license (State of Minnesota) as a Licensed Practical NurseComfortable with little to no physical patient contact on a day-to-day basisExperience with mental health care preferredKnowledgeable about psychotropic medicationsComputer and tech savvyExperience with Electronic Medical Records preferred

Hours:
General daytime hours, Monday through Friday (example: 7am-3:30pm, 8:30am-5pm), no weekend hours. The schedulewould bea consistent schedule!
