General Description

The purpose of this
strategic priority is to d
eliver an end-to-end, one/no touch handling process for
certain Property and Auto claims, such as scheduled valuable article/mysterious
disappearance claims and Auto 1st party single vehicle claims
leveraging digital capabilities, automation, and process changes. Using
analytics and optimizing information collected at intake, we will look to
continue to expand to new populations of claims, improving customer experience
and driving down the cost of claim handling.  

 

The Product Owner (PO)
is responsible for transformative design and strategic implementation at a
project level.  Through engagement of appropriate workstream resources
(SME, Change Manager, BPO Transition Lead), the PO supports user-story
definition, UAT and detailed L5 processes and screen shot documentation;
accountable for go-forward processes and ongoing support for automation (IPA,
Robotics, Core Processes); monitors automation performance; prioritize
enhancements; maintains process/procedures; and determines impacts to
automation as changes in the technical environment occur.  The PO also
provides specific insight to the LOB and drives operational efficiencies and
compliant solutions via re-engineering, outsourcing, automation, or a
combination of all three.

  • Take lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner


  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile
    development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create
    requirements 


  • Define the features of the product or the
    outcome of the project


  • Establishes the vision, verifies the AS IS,
    gap and remedial plan


  • Provide needed feature details and acceptance
    criteria


  • Prioritize features/outcomes according to
    business value


  • Adjust features outcomes and priority as
    needed to ensure ROI


  • Accept work results


  • Determines the scope of the project


  • Identifies the stakeholder in the project


  • Ensure that suitably qualifies SMEs are
    available for the project


  • Builds the vision and alignment with the
    corporate


  • Identifies gaps and approves the plan to
    close the gap


  • Verifies the addressable headcount as well


  • Verifies the PII


  • Attends the deep dive sessions and verifies
    the L5 as is and to be, ultimately agrees the headcount removal and leave
    behind headcount, along with reporting mechanisms


  • Collaborates with the team to ensure to
    ensure that user stories are accurately elaborated, understood, and
    prioritize


  • Participates in agile ceremonies: PI
    Planning, Daily Stand-ups so that constant re-prioritization occurs


  • Reviews the updated release plan and adjusts
    story priority in the backlog accordingly


  • Confirms stories in the backlog and in
    alignment with the Vision and roadmap


  • Attends the Demo to provide feedback and
    acceptance of stories



 

Qualifications


  • 5-7 years’ experience as a project manager
    or team lead; proven success mentoring, communicating and coaching team members
    without direct authority


  • Experienced in Agile methodology (Scrum,
    Kanban, SAFe, XP, etc.), planning estimation and metrics, as well as Agile
    Tools for Project Management (JIRA, Confluence, etc)


  • Experience in leading or working in teams
    that are mixed in location, including globally across cultures and time zones
    preferred


  • Basic knowledge of software development
    processes and procedures to understand team needs


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
    Information Technology or Business preferred


  • First level Scrum Master certification
    (CSM, PSM 1) preferred


  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical
    thinking skills, with thorough attention to detail.


  • Technical leadership and management ability
    and drive-for-results


  • Track record of high achievement in a
    team-based and results-oriented culture


  • Ability to travel between company locations
    as needed
