The transportation technologies team provides the transportation industry with the confidence that its products and services meet required safety and quality standards. The team’s services cover all aspects of clients’ needs from advisory, auditing, certification and inspection to outsourcing, quality assurance, testing, training and more.

This position is responsible for evaluating products against established requirements. This position will independently manage project tasks, timelines, communication and ensure an exceptional customer experience through effective and timely communication.


  • Develop test plans and perform/monitor testing in accordance with standards and/or client test specs.
  • Prepare test sample.
  • Set up and operate test equipment.
  • Compile test data and analyze test results.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or data discrepancies during testing.
  • Communicate with clients and various internal stakeholders as required.
  • Prepare draft and/or final test reports. Submit report to reviewer for final approval.
  • Within approved categories, may review and sign off on final reports.
  • Within policy guidelines, identify, properly document, and recommend engineering judgments.
  • May delegate and oversee work of technicians.
  • Perform other work as required.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or directly relevant technical field
  • Experience with EMC/EMI testing, equipment and reporting
  • Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
  • Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
  • Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties
  • Must be customer focused and quality driven
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate .
