Shop Floor Controller - Pl 1 at Schaeffler Group in Cheraw, South Carolina

Job Description:

Schaeffler Group, Cheraw, SC has an opening for a Shop Floor Controller. This position is needed to ensure proper closing of every shop order for proper financial accounting and variance reporting.

Primary tasks include:

• Interfacing with supply chain, shop floor schedulers, planners, and finance to identify and correct errors


• Responsible for technical closing of production orders


• Run production order cockpit and closing reports


• Verify ad correct errors on production orders


• Run variance reports


• Track KPI's related to production order closure


• Analyze cause of errors and determine ways to reduce errors in closing

• Associates Degree required preferably in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or business related field preferred


• Prefer previous experience with ERP systems (SAP)


• Analytical thinking skills


• Goal and results oriented


• Strong problem solving and decision making skills


• Strong written and oral communication skills


• Strong organizational skills


• Proficiency is Microsoft Office Suite


• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology
