Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Fleet Parts Manager is responsible for all parts related to servicing the NESCO fleet. This includes purchasing, inventory, shipping and receiving, and partnering with the Accounting team for proper accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee equipment fleet parts support division providing direction and leadership

• Emphasize to parts team critical nature of expedited and timely delivery to internal customers

• Negotiate best in class pricing and terms from parts vendors, suppliers, and freight providers

• Develop multiple supply chain strategy to support the organization’s needs

• Hold suppliers accountable to performance and execute corrective change as needed

• Maintain a leading facility in practicing lean management and employing 5S practices

• Engage FleetWave fleet management system and be accountable to key performance indicators

• Build and foster relationships with the Nesco teams to ensure full, transparent communication

• Oversee Parts Inventory control via cycle counts and year end inventories

Education and Experience:

• 5+ Years of parts/purchasing management experience

• Professional demeanor and excellent communication capabilities

• Strong knowledge of leadership principles, methods, practices, and techniques

• Ability to work within various software environments including web-based, finance (MAS), and Microsoft

Requirements

• Ability to learn technical material.

• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds between workstations and storage.

• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds between loading docks, storage, and for client distribution. Distances range up to 20 feet. Height ranges up to 5 feet.

• The person in this position needs to constantly move about service departments as well as, inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.

• Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder or other equipment to manage, move, lift or replenish inventory.

• Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a phone, copy machine, laptop, mobile device and computer printer.

• The person in this position frequently communicates with others who have inquiries about NESCO equipment. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

• Must be able to observe and identify equipment controls and functionality.

• Ability to perform responsibilities at the designated site for designated hours as assigned, excluding holidays and PTO.

• Ability to work without direct supervision.

• Various projects as assigned
