The primary functions of the Scheduler are to provide required support to Construction Division projects and assist project reporting. Includes all aspects of schedule development and updating necessary to meet the on-going needs of the construction division projects.
Essential Job Functions
Prepare baseline schedules, schedule reviews, monthly schedule update analysis, time impact analysis, including cost/resource load, cash flow, earned value and other required documents.
Provide Project Schedule information to support estimating and cost management activities.
Attend on site project meetings, as required.
Monitor schedules to identify challenges including preparing trend and earned value analysis and suggest recommendations to project team.
Ensure the Division’s overall scheduling and cost information requirements are met throughout each project’s duration by maintaining communication with all necessary personnel.
Prepare all data and documentation necessary for schedule audits and closeout reviews.
Ensure all project scheduling, cost information and related reports are documented properly.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related Engineering Degree required
5+ years of direct Scheduler/project controls experience for a Contractor
Construction field experience facilitating and producing detailed construction schedules and interface those construction schedules with engineering and procurement activities
Experienced in critical path scheduling using Primavera P6 software, project cost management and document control.
Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management system, Cost and Resource Load.
JD Edwards, MS project, and advanced Excel Skills
Problem-solving mindset
Ability to travel when required
Physical Requirements
Able to remain in seated stationary position for long periods of time
Ability to navigate around office to use equipment as needed
Light lifting (Up to 20 lbs.) as needed
Certification/Licenses
PSP preferred
