Data Processor / Administrative Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time

Required Experience:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Skills will include use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows. Excellent communication, telephone, organizational, detail oriented and interpersonal skills are a necessity.

  • Experience with working in an office setting required.  Preference in a human service field.

General duties include responsibility of details for compliance standards, including but not limited to Excel spreadsheet tracking, reviewing documents for accuracy, responsibility of obtaining required documents, and interpersonal and communication are a main function of daily tasks. Employee will be coordinating with Compass staff in our four regional offices, Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Managed Care Organizations, foster care agencies and psychiatric hospitals to fulfill job duties. Position is in Ulysses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma or equivalent is required.  Skills will include use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows. Excellent communication, telephone, organizational, and interpersonal skills are a necessity.  Experience in office and health care setting is preferred.

Work settings as well as transportation to these locations will vary and the environmental and physical properties will be diverse. 

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is exposed to a typical office environment and interactions with many different persons.  In addition, the employee travels by automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions. Must have a valid Kansas Driver’s License and be insurable under the Mental Health Center’s policy in order to operate a Center vehicle. The employee will interact with many different persons in varying stages of recovery from their mental illness.
