About the Position:

•    Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products

•    Ensures drawings and designs are completed on time and adhere to the established specifications and standards

•    Specifies product testing and required certification

•    May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation

•    Expertise in design, prototype, analyze, develop and launch innovative customer-focused, safe, reliable and easy to maintain shower, commercial, architectural, railings and transaction solutions/products.

•    Full cycle consumer product design and development experience with a proven track record to bring good quality innovative products to market at target cost

•    Drive all phases of new product design and development from concept to mass production while leading and mentoring team

•    Uses modeling and simulation tools, classical hand calculations and collaborates with outside SE and/or PE to determine if design meets functional / performance specifications and optimization of design

•    Wide knowledge of design methodologies, materials and manufacturing technologies and methods, including prototyping, process development, and mass production

•    Strategic and creative thinking and problem-solving skills

•    Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals.

A few things we require: 

•    BS degree & 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering 

•    5+ years of related mechanical design experience

•    Technical background in product design, architecture, tolerance analysis, structural analysis, and CAD

•    Previous work experience in shower, commercial, architectural, railings or transaction solutions/products
