Job Description:

AT&T has an opening for a Director of Government Security with five years minimum experience in a DoD or other U.S. Government (USG) Industrial Security program and 10 Years Intelligence Community experience with an in-depth knowledge of IC Security Program management and governing government security regulatory manuals. Successful training as a U.S. Government Contractor Special Security Officer or completion of the Facility Security Officer training through the Defense Security Services Training Academy and/or commensurate USG experience required. Experience must include supervision/management experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides direct management of the Security administration and management staff supporting government programs/customers.
  • Oversees development and implementation of program security procedures in coordination with government agencies and management personnel.
  • Conducts highly sensitive security briefings.
  • Initiates and coordinates the development and implementation of security procedures manuals and revisions for classified facilities and/or programs.
  • Recommends strategy, goals, and plans for Security environment.
  • Develops and maintains liaison with government agencies. Interprets government security requirements and provides guidance and resolution for program activities.
  • Assist the business with the retention of existing contracts and capture of new opportunities.
  • Knowledgeable of current SCIF Construction standards, development of Security CONOPS and OPSEC Plans.
  • Provides leadership and supervision for lower level employees and develops human capital and resource plans to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Goals and objectives managed contribute to the financial and business success of the security organization and influence achievement of broader, more functional objectives in line with overall corporate strategy.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Manages all aspects of IC industrial security programs and other security activities, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
  • Coaches, develop, and guides staff and issues constructive feedback in timely fashion.
  • Ensures staff receives effective leadership with the organizational structure.
  • Responsible for the employment, training, motivation, discipline, performance appraisals and budget of assigned employees and all USG Security program reviews.
  • Interprets government security requirements and provides guidance and solution for program activities.
  • Accomplishes results through supervision and development of first line management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 15 years’ experience

Required Clearance:
Security Clearance of TS with SCI and polygraph (#polygraph)
