Position Summary

 

The Cigna Information Protection Risk Management and Compliance Shared Services team is looking for an experienced Information Security Risk Management professional to play a key role on the Client Risk Management team. The Client Risk Management team manages information security risk expectations for proposed, new and existing Client relationships, enterprise-wide.   The Information Protection Senior Advisor will work with the business and technology teams in support of RFP/RFI response, contract review/negotiation, questionnaire response, audit response and finalist presentations.  Applicants should have expertise in Information Security and demonstrate the ability to thoroughly describe security practices and controls to Clients and their audit teams.

Responsibilities

·           Represent Cigna in pre-sales Information Security discussions including responding to RFP’s, initial contract negotiations and finalist meetings.

·           Lead Cigna’s internal response to Information Security audits.  This can include responding to detailed security questionnaires and representing the Information protection organization in face-to-face meetings with Client security and audit teams.

·           Review Information Security language in proposed Client contracts to ensure alignment with Cigna’s best practices and capabilities.

·           Analyze and optimize current Client Risk Management processes and practices to include Information Security risk metrics and scorecards and provide actionable data to Leadership regarding Information Security Client expectations.

·           Manage intake, tracking and closure process for Client Risk Management requests.

·           Own and manage updates to Client Risk Management policies and process documents.

·           Lead projects associated with integration efforts.

·           Additional responsibilities as necessary.

 

Qualifications

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills required

·       High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar preferred

·       CISA, CISM, and/or CISSP preferred

·       7+ years of Information Security experience required. Prior experience as a security practitioner in at least two of the following areas: Network Security, Application Security, Identity and Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Incident Management preferred

·       5+ years responding to Client and/or other external security audit teams required

·       Knowledge of generally accepted Information Security controls (e.g. NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171)

·       MS Office skills required.

·       Strong technical and analytical skills.

·       Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate with internal/external entities and management.
