Technica LLC seeks to fill the position of Warehouse Supervisor (Temporary) on a Government contract with a place of performance at Fort Bliss, Tx

Position Description:

The 1AD Iron Reaper Supervisor supervises all aspects of technical supply management work with specific retrograde responsibilities. Assignments will include item identification, condition categorizing, and other technical supply functions (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements, together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. This work requires leadership of other employees and taskings.


  • A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • Develops, interprets, guides and assigns work to subordinates in order to assure timely and satisfactory completions of assignments.
  • Promotes effective and efficient utilization of logistics automated systems.
  • Develops performance standards for subordinates.
  • Leads, coordinates and performs causative research for all inventory Supply Chain matters in compliance with AR 735-5, AR 710-2 and DA PAM 710-2-2 Supply Support Activity: Supply System Manuel Procedures.
  • Analyze and prepare monthly warehouse data to ensure organizational effectiveness
  • Directs supply operations i.e. the requisitioning, receipt, issue, storage and associated inventory control of all material and supplies necessary to support contractual requirements.
  • Directs the operation of the reparable exchange, inventory, storage, distribution activities, and supply provisioning of the Authorized To Forecast (ATF) excess retrograde equipment and supply for turn in to DLA-DS or Depot level
  • Must be able to schedule and balance priorities for multiple requirements over several crucial departments.
  • Perform employee discipline counseling, employee performance reviews, and other
  • personnel reporting.
  • Resolves grievances and keeps employees informed on policies, personal and other management program.
  • Conducts inspection and reviews of all work and takes appropriate corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Ensure operations are in compliance with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and PWS requirements.
  • Acts as the Contractor's on-site supervisor and POC for Government representatives.
  • Screen applicants and conduct interviews for open positions.
  • Review and approves timesheets
  • Comply with environmental Laws/Regulations, comply with Army Regulations/Policies and Global Combat Support System -GCSS-Army Regulations/Policies, related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
  • Minimum 1 year of functional work in GCSS-A ERPS and Warehouse
  • Must have several years of experience in and with military supply and logistics systems at the Brigade or above levels
  • Identifying items retrograded to site with minimal documentation with the ability to classify the condition of the items.
  • Post transactions to the system of record.
  • Helping to determine the method of obtaining relief from responsibility for lost, damaged and destroyed supply items.
  • Prepares unit/organizational supply documents and maintains an automated supply system for accounting of installation supplies and equipment
  • Establish work priorities, progress reports, maintain accountability for sensitive items. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining warehouse filing system and key control system.
  • The ideal candidate must be extremely customer focused and capable of short range planning, analysis, and the ability to understand the processing of parts and have the following additional requirements traits:
  • A good working knowledge of Logistic Information System -LIS supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • An understanding of the needs of the organizations serviced and the overall mission concerns of those units.
  • Candidate must be able to conduct research documents, familiar with all applications within the Logistics Information Warehouse.
  • Must have several years of experience in and with military supply and logistics systems at the Brigade or above levels.
  • Cataloging: Writes item descriptions for a range of new items entering the supply channels of a particular agency or field establishment. Cataloging supplies and equipment to standardize requisitions for accountability. Reviews existing stock catalogs, manufacturers' catalogs, drawings, or other resource materials, for the purpose of matching characteristics or part numbers to identify duplicate items already catalogued or otherwise recorded in the supply system.
  • Material coordination: Performs material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops. Duties are performed on the basis of practical experience in processing and expediting supply transactions related to the particular organizations serviced.
  • Inventory management: Responsible for inventory management of decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies, and equipment. Responsible for issue, receipt, and accountability of all property book items, to include sensitive items
  • Provide customer assistance when necessary, by resolving their problems or directing them to the proper personnel (i.e. Execution mangers from depots, DLA/GSA) for getting correct problem resolution.
  • Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to quickly research and collect the necessary applicable data, to establish the applicable facts, and to take or recommend action based upon proven applications or interpretation of systematic established guidelines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge to operate and perform required duties using Logistics Information System (LIS), GCSS-A ERPS/ Warehouse and normally approved office computer automation equipment. Ability to produce reports using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience maintaining files with Army Record Information System (ARIMS).
  • Other duties as assigned or related to the overall operation of the section/branch that the position is assigned to perform in.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Must be a US Citizen to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:


  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Must have 2-3 years of leadership experience
  • Military Occupational Speciality (MOS) of a 92A, 920B
