As a member of the leadership team, the Business Project Manager (BPM) will report directly to the President of eviCore Home. This role will be responsible for supporting the business strategy and initiatives, partnering with various functions across the enterprise to drive strategic planning, process, project management and business communications. This role will manage business inputs into executive presentations, consistency and other enterprise strategy processes. This role will assist in the management process for the leadership team, including facilitating leadership meetings and special projects as needed.
The successful candidate for this role will be a self-starter, intellectually curious and bring the ability to transform various developments and actions into a synthesized set of business updates and strategies for a senior executive-level audience. Ideally this high-potential candidate uses this role as a stepping stone to roles with broader responsibility and more expansive business ownership.
Core Responsibilities:
Governance
Own leadership meeting management including agenda setting, meeting facilitation, and action item resolution.
Manage annual governance activities, such as goal setting, management calendar, consistency in development and monitoring of dashboards and metrics, Leadership Summits, etc.
Support the execution of the business governance model, including operating model, leadership ownership/accountability, management processes, and decision making frameworks under the direction of the President of eviCore Home.
Support continuous assessment and execution of the team governance model, including identifying gaps, recommending actions & improvements, and implementing changes, to improve the organization's overall performance and effectiveness, in partnership with the President of eviCore Home.
Act as a connection point between business leadership across the other eviCore programs, other lines of businesses within the enterprise, stakeholders, and matrix partners (ex. Compliance, Operations, Growth, Finance, etc.), providing proactive identification of opportunities and issues that could impact the successful execution of commitments.
Partner with Communications and the senior leadership to support the development and execution of the communications plan, including town halls, emails, etc. to ensure all levels of the organization are familiar with the business strategy, as well as understand our progress/results and how each individual is connected to achieving the business' goals.
Ensure alignment of meetings, town halls, communications and other key initiatives in partnership with key matrix partners, such as the, communications teams. Work with the administrative assistant to support coordination of activities
Key Initiatives
Chair and facilitate work groups/committees for both team-wide and other initiatives identified by the President of eviCore Home, prioritizing cross-business synergies and issue mitigation.
Oversee the development and monitoring of the team's priorities to ensure the team is focused on the highest value efforts.
Support the development of executive audience materials for eviCore President, Health Services President, etc., and, as required, other leadership meetings members, leveraging SMEs and Business Communications partners.
Partner with leaders to educate, mitigate, and request support for key initiatives and critical projects. Monitor progress of those projects against objectives.
Develop deep understanding of Health Services programs to inform strategy, actions needed from the team and highlight/enable enterprise engagement efforts for leadership.
Lead employee engagement focus, including recognition opportunities and communication planning.
Manage business inputs into bi-weekly Executive Committee presentations, quarterly Health Services update presentations, and other deliverables as needed.
Support continuous assessment and execution of the business' governance model, including identifying gaps, recommending actions & improvements, and implementing changes, to improve overall performance and effectiveness.
Responsible for ensuring that needed business results and analysis are being delivered and effectively disseminated by accountable teams (Finance, Programs, Growth, Operations, etc.).
Lead other projects, initiatives, and events, as needed, under the direction of the President of eviCore Home.
What You Should Have
Minimum Requirements
College degree or proven relevant work experience
5+ years of project management experience or equivalent, using tools and frameworks to execute projects
Ability to quickly build relationships and influence across the organization.
Proven ability to function in a heavily matrixed environment
Strong communication & information sharing skills (oral and written). Excellent presentation skills that encompass clear, compelling communications. Proven detail orientation.
Proven experience working with senior leaders, facilitating discussions, speaking with courage and driving action.
Ability to work effectively in entrepreneurial, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Must balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines
Preferred Requirements
MBA or other relevant graduate degree
Experience in managed care and/or relevant healthcare experience
