Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for physical processing of inbound damaged finished goods to meet the re-boxing requirement of the DSCSA (Drug Supply Chain Security Act).
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform stock checks, relabel and rework inventory.
- Quarantine tagging and removal for products on hold.
- Re-box and salvage inbound damaged finished goods.
- Hold and release product that has been re-boxed or salvaged.
- Assist Branch Inspector with any recall stock checks and deviations.
- Material pulling and put away.
- Maintain working/reporting relationships and communication with branch personnel.
- Operate reach truck, order picker, and other material handling equipment as needed.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant Work Experience
- Previous quality control experience in regulated area required. Medical device and/or drug manufacturing setting preferred.
Additional
- To perform core functions of the position must have the ability to perform basic math (addition and subtraction).
- Position also requires:
- Use of simple measurement tools such as a ruler, caliper, eyeglass comparator, micrometer, etc.
- Sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time, with frequent bending and kneeling.
- Close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Working in hot and cold environments, (32F - 95F), and at heights.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work may be performed at heights.
- Frequent bending and kneeling.
- May be required to travel from state to state for training or customer visits.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience demonstrating understanding of FDA/QSR/ISO14551 guidelines.
- Experience demonstrating knowledge of ANSI/ASQCZ1.4-current revision.
- Prior experience in warehouse environment.
