Job Responsibilities
Wet Deposition product output will be growing over the next few years and we have an opportunity to mitigate some of the risks associated with this growth.  Come join the new Wet Dep commodity team.  This team will face some unique challenges and we intend to have fun while meeting these challenges.
 
This position is part of the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) organization. In this position, you, as a Supply Business Manager, play a vital role with the Wet Deposition suppliers.  You will have the opportunity to architect the commodity strategy and work across organizations on key objectives such as cost reduction, contract negotiation, business continuity plans and supplier development to support capacity and scalability needs.

Candidate should be a result-driven, self-starter possessing strong interpersonal skills with a strong focus on supporting customers.  This individual should also possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, to adapt to changing priorities and to work independently in a close-knit team setting.
 
 
 

Other Job Responsibilities


  • Defines metrics and monitor supplier performance against expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvement and sustainability.  Regularly evaluate performance benchmarks, and the risks associated with the preferred supply base selection
  • Continuously working on  process improvement to deploy & develop best known methods related to procurement, inventory control (e.g., JIT, Kanban, min/max) & manufacturing strategies
  • Encourages and coordinates early supplier involvement in new products parts design using the suppliers' expertise to optimize quality and manufacturability
  • Drive the improvement of the suppliers' manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, cost, and on-time-delivery
  • Collaborate on the continuous development of supply base through close teamwork with product management, global product group, and supplier engineers
  • Knowledge of supply chain management business processes and proper governance controls for factory management
  • Establishes goals with supplier to ensure material delivery meet forecasted demand.
  • Represents supplier business management on a cross-functional commodity teams that focuses on supply challenges, and to ensure internal/external customer needs are satisfied.
  • Maintains current knowledge on relevant trends by personal contact, industry reports, trade journals, etc.
  • Works with engineering and the supplier to resolve complex problem to ensure on time delivery of critical material to support customer and company requirements.
  • Develops presentation, white papers, process flow charts to support continues process improvement projects.
  • Works with supplier to monitors product cost preventing negative PPV and supporting cost reduction efforts.

Minimum Qualification


  • Bachelor's degree from accredited University a must; Advanced degree (MBA) from accredited University preferred
  • Solid analytical skills and understanding of statistical process control and basic statistical analysis used in production setting
  • Verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization including executives
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes
  • International & domestic travelling

Preferred Qualification
Project Management / Team Lead experience
Lean six sigma experience as a yellow or green belt or above a plus
At least 7 years of working in the Semiconductor Equipment Industry
Experience with working with global suppliers
