Job Description:

The Supervisor, Medical Record Retrieval is responsible for oversight of the individuals, daily activities, and deliverables for medical record requests that support the optimization of risk adjusted revenue for the organization. Primary duties include developing workflows, monitoring and reporting status of record retrieval projects, maintaining accurate provider data and secure organizational repositories, and coordinating provider outreach.

Experience
- Three (3) years relevant experience; prior leadership experience preferred
- Experience and familiarity with medical records, medical terminology, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems required
- Prior document management experience required, including knowledge and proficiency with Adobe Pro, scanners, flash drives, navigation of document repository, tracking requests, and maintaining issues logs
- Recent prior health care and/or health insurance experience preferred
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) through AHIMA preferred

Required Education:

- Associates Degree in Health Information Technology or other health care related area of study
