About Our Candidate:

KAR Global is hiring driven individuals to help us transform the vehicle remarketing industry.  Primarily, you will be building modern and innovative tools used across the enterprise to inspect, assess, and digitally represent vehicles.  You will have direct impact on thousands of users and customers, and work on highly visible products, essential to the roadmap of KAR Global.  You’ll be joining a team of software and product development professionals operating in a very efficient agile environment, allowing us to deliver valuable working software daily. 

What You Will Be Doing:

• Develop solutions in an agile development environment




• Participate in code reviews




• Test solutions and troubleshoot issues




• Participate in cross-discipline collaboration with team members including the product owners, designers, and testers

What You Need to Be Successful:

• Writing high-quality object-oriented code




• Experience with large, complex and highly scalable systems




• C# / .NET / Visual Studio




• Kotlin / Native Android App development




• Single Page JavaScript Applications: Angular, TypeScript, Bootstrap




• Service API development, REST/JSON




• SQL, relational and non-relational databases




• Agile processes

Other Helpful Skills:

• Azure Cloud Development and Deployment, PaaS




• Continuous Integration and Delivery




• DevOps (Git source code management, automated build and release, etc.)




• Automated Testing (Unit, Integration, Functional)
