Dematic is searching for an Mechancial Engineering Manager at our Southern Operations in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. Come be a part of a team that leads with innovation and passion.

You will need to take a self starter approach and take a can-do attitude to be successful as the Mechanical Engineering Manager. You will complete the definition of complex projects, assign teams and monitor results while performing technical support to marketing, sales, and/or other departments. Ability to assess and carry out completion of projects and performs project organization, definition, planning, implementation and control. You will establish and prepare technical standards, complex technology design theory and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Successfully defines work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness.


• Analyzes and understands impact of decisions on business operations.


• You will support and develop departmental budgets, and business plans for projects.


• Analyze technology, resource needs and project time-lines, to plan and ensure the success of all projects.


• Appraise and recommend changes in methods or procedures.


• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve challenging issues.


• Responsible for overall success of team or projects.

Education:

Required: Bachelors Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Controls)

Advanced degree a plus

• 8+ years working in a mangerial position. 


• Material Handling experience a plus.


• You will guide a team of 10-15 engineers and will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of team.


• Prior success managing a multi-disciplined team.


• Lead with integrity and be respectful to others.


• Strong work ethic and knack to multi-task on a sustained basis.


• International and Domestic travel may be required.
