Blow Molding Process Technician - $35 / hr at FactoryFix in Elk Grove Village, Illinois

Job Description:

A plastics company in Elk Grove Village , IL is looking for a Blow Molding Process Technician for a 1st shift opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• MUST have at least 2 years of proven experience as an extrusion blow molding process technician.


• Perform troubleshooting and process adjusts to extrusion blow molding machines


• Verify product complies with established standards using calipers, scales, etc.


• Processing and monitoring of new and/or existing products


• Verify proper and complete documentation of machine start-up and shut-down activities when applicable


• Verify production requirements are being achieved.


• Ensure proper line set-up including peripheral equipment


• Ensure proper lock out/tag out procedures are followed by all appropriate personnel Maintain good housekeeping practices


• Prepare work orders for tool room and/or equipment maintenance for submission to Foreman - Shift Supervisor


• Requires regular attendance in accordance with scheduled shift time and days; as well as compliance with Attendance Policy

• High School or GED Diploma


• 2 Years Minimum as an Extrusion Blow Molding Tech


• Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities


• Experience in a production manufacturing environment.


• Use of quality and calibration tools


• Willing and able to work overtime and as required


• Experience with Bekum machines strongly preferred.
