You’ll be ensuring safety and reliable operations by not only proving programs and operating controls, but also identifying root causes and corrective action for quality problems to support our successful and growing company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for loading parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
• Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and set up requirements.
• Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to ensure quality of productions.
• Communicates with management, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Responsible for keeping equipment orderly and performing basic preventative maintenance functions.
• May perform other duties as assigned by management
• Identify root causes and corrective action for quality problems.
• Utilize production work orders and documents.
• Ensure all documentation is complete and correct.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.

Position Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated CNC programming knowledge and experience required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with CNC machining, drawings, and specifications preferred
• Knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments preferred
• Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
• Must possess basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
