Machine Operators - Assembly, Grinding, Forge & Turning at Schaeffler Group in Joplin, Missouri

Job Description:

Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking Machine Operators for our Assembly, Grinding & Turning areas for our Joplin, Missouri factory.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Setup and operation of equipment and gages
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Perform minor maintenance
• Read and understand blue prints
• Basic knowledge of SPC would be helpful
  
  

Qualified candidates will have:

• High School Diploma or a G.E.D. equivalent

• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of metric system
• Basic computer skills
• Setup and operation of gages and other measuring equipment and machine experience a plus
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
