As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Providing administrative support in all aspects of human resources in union environment by performing a wide range of specialized duties, such as providing procedural guidance, coaching clients on system-related transactions and procedures, providing formal training to clients, or providing suggestions for improvement to current procedures, processes, and methods

  • Coordinating administration of diverse, complex, and highly confidential information related to compensation, benefits, performance, and other areas of HR

  • Coordinating on- and off-site meetings, presentations, and conferences, develop agendas, take meeting notes, and process summary of proceedings, as necessary

  • Serving as resource person to all levels of employees regarding policies, procedures, guidelines, and practice, influencing adherence to enforcement of policy

  • Providing HR training resources and tools and/or directs to the appropriate HR subject matter expert, as necessary, to provide client solutions

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Five (5) years combined experience in a manufacturing human resources function, a manufacturing administrative support function, and/or manufacturing secretarial and/or clerical role in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Minimum of one (1) year of unionized Human Resources experience in a private, public, government or military environment

  • Experience with 3M systems including Workday, Lotus Notes, and SharePoint

  • Excellent organizational skills and event planning experience

  • Detail orientated

  • Must demonstrate initiative and ability to anticipate and problem solve independently

  • Ability to work flexible work hours depending on current priorities

  • Ability to handle confidential information

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
