Job Description:

LaTour Hotels and Resorts, Inc., is now hiring for Seasonal Shuttle Drivers at our Park Plaza Resort in Park City, UT!  LHR is an EOE!

POSITION SUMMARY
The Hotel Shuttle Driver safely transports the hotel guests to/from the Memphis Airport during our 24-hour airport courtesy service.  The driver may be asked to transport hotel guests within a 5-mile radius to points of interest and/or to local hotel business accounts. The Driver works very closely with the Front Desk staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintain the Van, which includes refueling, checking fluids, and keeping it clean.


• Ensures first aid kit has adequate supplies and fire extinguisher is available/charged.


• Maintain and clean the shuttle driver stand.


• Ensure the shuttle driver schedule is posted in lobby and up-to-date.


• Deliver departing guest folios under guest room doors (when requested).


• Work with front desk and managers to move the guests efficiently to their points of interest and back.


• Maintains schedule of when and where to pick up the hotels guests and communicates with them.


• Keep the parking lot and entrance free of trash and debris.


• Cheerfully interact with guests/visitors and provide assistance as needed.


• Immediately notify superiors when problems arise.


• Other requests by management as needed.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Education/Credentials

• High School Diploma.


• Must possess a valid Driver’s license.


• Clean Driving Record required.

Experience

• The Driver must have a clean driving record, and at least four years of driving experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The driver is outside frequently and must deal with changing weather. The driver must also deal with the traffic patterns and the pedestrians on the roads. S/he must regularly interact with the different personalities of the representatives and guests.
