Summary Objective:


Spa Nail Technicians are responsible for creating a positive and relaxing spa experience under the Spa Director and with the support of the Spa Team.  This experience includes providing nail services to all clients, answering all inquiries, creating rapport with clients, and building a client base.


Essential Functions:



  • Deliver the Ultimate Beauty Experience to Every Guest, Every Time

  • Provide nail-care services that exceed all client expectations

  • Consult with clients and answer all questions

  • Perform basic and spa manicures and pedicures

  • Maintain an organized and sanitary work station

Job Responsibilities:



  • Welcome clients upon arrival

  • Retain clients to maintain a full schedule

  • Ensure that any waivers or consent forms are signed by client

  • Keep station and spa organized, clean, and sanitary

  • Sell appropriate products and services

  • Maintain and report schedule accurately

  • Attend all required meetings and trainings

  • Understand and follow employee standards of conduct and ethics

  • Uphold club building, facilities, service, program, and emergency procedures

  • Attend all mandatory meetings

  • Assume other duties as assigned

  • Work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed

Required Experience, Education & Certifications:



  • State Nail Technician License required

  • High School Diploma required

  • One to two years’ experience preferred

  • Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.

  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.

  • Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

  • Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

  • Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

  • The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operates machines, such as lathes, drill presses, power saws, and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach; performs mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature, such as carpenter, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc.
