The Partner Success Manager (PSM) is accountable for creating and maintaining a positive, exceptional experience for each Academic Partner account. CareerStep works with more than 100 higher education institutions and the PSM works closely with the school administration team to make sure that their needs are met and the partnership is growing. The PSM supports and manages the Academic Partner relationship through the entire life-cycle, including the onboarding process, monthly reporting, enrollment support, and general account maintenance.
The ideal candidate has a background in education, is tech-savvy, and has strong client relationship management and project management skills. The PSM provides consulting and guidance to Academic Partners on best practices for implementing and sustaining successful adoption and utilization of CareerStep's training programs.
A day in the life
20% Onboarding
Proactively initiates and manages the onboarding of new Academic Partners, including setting up the account, branding, program collateral, etc.
Maintains accurate and timely implementation records
Conducts meetings with assigned accounts to review expectations and to create a written implementation plan with milestones and deliverables
Consults on product utilization to ensure alignment with the Academic Partners strategic plan and initiatives
60% Maintaining Client Relationships
Generates and delivers monthly reports to Academic Partner administrators
Acts as the Academic Partners primary point-of-contact, interfacing with additional internal departments and resources as needed
20% Administrative Duties
Monitors enrollments submitted for processing and reconciles lists, checking for accuracy
Creates internal and external documentation
Develops and administers periodic Academic Partner surveys at key points of the relationship life-cycle to measure client satisfaction
Generates summary reports for CareerStep management, including revenue, progress, and client satisfaction reports for each account managed
Youll be successful in this role if you have
Education/Experience
5+ years experience in a client management role
Bachelors degree in education, instructional design, or organizational behavior or equivalent experience
Project management certification or equivalent experience
