Location: North Norman

Summary:                                                                                                                                                                                                              

The Technician performs routine tasks in assisting the licensed physical therapists/assistants in maintenance of treatment areas, equipment, and supplies. You will help with patient preparation, exercise and treatment to ensure efficient flow of the schedule and reduces waiting time of the patients. General requirements are positive patient interaction, excellent communication skills, and positive energy. The technician must be able to multi-task and problem solve, possess excellent customer service skills, and be willing to go above and beyond to take care of the customers’ needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities including the following:

• Positive, friendly, and professional interactions with patients.


• Ability to interact with patients and engage them.


• Prepares equipment and treatment areas for patients.


• Cleans treatment areas, keeps gym clean and items off the floor.


• Prepares patients for treatment, assisting with transfers and transportation as needed.


• Assures adequate linen and supplies in room.


• Assists with maintenance and cleaning of equipment and clinic.


• Performs general cleaning duties in the facility.


• Efficient patient set up with modalities to ensure patient safety and comfort.


• Completes opening and closing duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: 

• Background in health/wellness or personal training preferred. Pre-physical therapy or allied health degree tract preferred.

Working Environment:

• fast paced, heavy lifting, standing, and bending.
