Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking for a talented Desktop Support Specialist to work as part of a team supporting remote users and select users in our Pacific Life offices. This individual will be self-motivated and bring innovative ideas and recommendations based on industry best practices, professional experience, and new technologies.

To be successful in this position will require skills in managing ambiguity, and experience with migrating to new technologies. As part of the End User Services department this individual will work with internal and external technical teams to support computer systems, data networks, voice technology, and mobile devices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* 3-5 years of related work experience in desktop support. Work in an IT Service Desk / call center environment is a plus.

* Proven experience providing customer service in an IT environment

* Active Directory experience administering user accounts and profiles

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Must have knowledge of current business-class desktop/laptop hardware and related equipment

* VMware or other virtual computer support experience

* SCCM and or Intune experience

* Experience with mobile devices (iOS)

* Automation experience is a plus (PowerShell, Chef, Puppet)

* Experience with collaboration tools

* Must thrive in a collaborative work environment and have the ability to work effectively with limited supervision

* Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks relating to multiple initiatives at any given time

* Experience supporting Windows 10 and Microsoft Office

* Excellent customer service & phone etiquette

* May require working extra hours / weekends / on-call

* Ability to bring innovation and creative thinking to the position
