Job Description:

TITLE: ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL

LOCATION: US, REMOTE

This position will report to the Company s Global Data Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel. The successful candidate will focus on the Company s global privacy program by providing support, direction, education, risk mitigation, and project management skills so that the Company can achieve its business goals consistent with global privacy law and the company s privacy standards.

A DAY IN THE LIFE TYPICALLY INCLUDES:

* Supporting Infor s Development organization with implementation of privacy by design and other privacy related best practices within Infor s offerings.

* Assisting with the Company s compliance with all applicable data protection, cyber security and privacy laws, regulations and programs globally, including GDPR, LGPD, and anticipated US federal and state privacy laws.

* Enhancing processes for monitoring, auditing, and measuring the effectiveness of the global privacy program in order to identify potential areas of risk and opportunities for improvement.

* Ensuring the implementation, continuous improvement and maintenance of, and adherence to, the Company's policies with respect to confidential information, cybersecurity, data protection and privacy.

* Assisting in the development of internal privacy policy documentation, summary policy descriptions, privacy-related contract templates, business associate agreements, and other privacy documentation for use across the Company s businesses and regions

* Ability to understand the inner workings of software applications at a technical level.

* Ability to plan, manage and execute multiple projects within budget and on schedule.

* Excellent analytical ability, problem-solving and leadership skills.

WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD?

Preferred Qualifications:

* CIPP certification or other equivalent privacy certification(s) preferred, with working knowledge of the requirements, regulations, and legislation to implement an effective global privacy program, preferably for a technology/software company.

* Minimum 10 years experience in the software industry with exposure to issues of data privacy and security.International experience strongly preferred.
