We are seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) for our Interventional Radiology department. The position will be Monday-Friday during the day and will have on-call responsibilities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:
As the Radiology Charge Nurse (RN) you will evaluates, assists, intervenes, plans, and documents patient care.
You will work in collaboration with the Radiology Director, coordinates and supervises the nursing activities within the Radiology Department.
You will make daily nursing assignments and participates in imaging performance improvement activities as directed.
You will assist physicians during invasive procedures, treatments, and examinations, administer medications, and assist in pre and post assessments.
Registered Nurses are advocates and health educators for patients, families, and communities.
You will develop and manage nursing care plans, instruct patients and their families in proper care, and help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain their health.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
* Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
* Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold and active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
* A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Heath Care Provider is required.
* A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Heath Care Provider is required.
* 1-3 years of progressive leadership experience required.
