Regional Sales Manager - East, Architectural Walls at H2i Group, Inc. in Fulton, Maryland

Job Description:

The Opportunity:
We're looking to add a Regional Sales Manager to our East Region Architectural Walls team. This position will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and control of the construction project from its inception to the time it is completed. They will oversee their assigned region’s Sales, Operations and Installation teams, ensuring that client requirements/standards, revenue and sales goals are met, in conjunction with reviewing and maintaining the overhead costs through profit margins.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and direct the sales team in meeting and maintaining sales goals, also holding the team accountable for updating the CRM.

  • Oversee the sales team by effectively planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing a climate for offering information, opinions and providing opportunities for improvement.

  • Create and execute a business plan for growth, profitability and service.

  • Develop and meet established division sales and profitability goals and meeting established sales metric goals for meetings, proposals and close rates

  • Establish and manage subcontractor relationships.

  • Participate with regional sales team in sales presentations and meetings. Present information on company’s products and service solutions, collaborate. with architects on design solutions, and provide product and service information to architects, clients and general contractors so they make informed and effective decisions.

  • Fully understand major competitive product lines including product features, positioning, and pricing strategies. Use this knowledge to prepare competitive bids and product presentations.

  • Ensure up-to-date team training of company products while mentoring and coaching employees on prospecting and closing the sale.

  • Develop the team’s effectiveness by partnering with HR in recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.

  • Drives and promotes a culture of “An Exceptional Customer Experience” by establishing and enforcing organization standards and acting as a positive representation of our company’s values, strategies, and objectives.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies.

What We're Looking For:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Marketing, or related field is referred but not required.

  • Minimum of 5 plus years’ experience in Sales within educational, healthcare, laboratory and commercial design, construction; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
    Prior experience in staffing coordination, coaching, performance management and management proficiency a plus.

  • Prior experience in Construction and/or in the Architectural Walls product is preferred but not required.

  • Have working knowledge of traditional and new approaches to commercial construction, and be familiar with design and construction best practices.

  • Be able to represent and negotiate our company’s interests in complex project hierarchies, including end user customers, architects, consultants and general contractors.

  • Demonstrate versatility in communication and activities to promote sales, project execution, and post sales account management.

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and excellent presentation skills.

  • Ability to negotiate and manage contractual agreements.

  • Be able to manage the different phases of consultative selling on multiple projects in a complex and changing business environment.

  • Must have working knowledge in MS Office.

  • Proven success in meeting and/or exceeding projected sales goals in prior roles.

  • Must be willing and able to travel within the assigned territory.

  • The employee must have the ability to communicate well with all members of the H2I Group, Inc. team and foster positive teamwork relationships with fellow employees.

  • The employee must possess the knowledge of construction management, commercial building processes and financial acumen and have the ability and willingness to travel.
