Senior Communications Specialist at Magellan Health Services inc in rancho cordova, California

Job Description:

This position is responsible for ensuring consistent, clear, timely and accurate communications and documentation for operations and other audiences through a variety of communication channels, including email, newsletters, and through the web portal. Is also responsible for developing and maintaining resources on web portal.

• Independently performs special projects and assists with presentations.


• Writing, reviewing, proofreading and editing all types of communications and documentation to ensure consistency, clarity, accuracy and timeliness. Includes facilitating review process when necessary.


• Interviewing, information gathering, writing and timely distribution of documentation and communication materials.


• Work in conjunction with internal departments to develop new correspondence as needed.


• Troubleshoot, research and respond to inquiries regarding correspondence issues.


• Assists in tracking correspondence issues.


• Ongoing maintenance of information posted on web portal.


• Continuous improvement of web portal.


• Creates and manages reporting mechanisms for internal documentation flow.


• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Other Job Requirements

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience in public relations or marketing communications.


• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and HTML.
