Job Description:

•\tRun production equipment, build parts and prototypes.•\tRecommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.•\tDisplays a commitment to excellence with a team oriented attitude.•\tSupport Team Leader in completing paperwork and ensuring quality work is being produced•\tAbility to assist Team leader•\tAssembles component parts to specifications in a manner, which is consistent with the company's quality and productivity standards.•\tInspect all parts for cosmetic defects and proper assembly. •\tTag any non-conforming parts with re-work labels and place in re-work bin.•\tEnsure all parts are assembled per specification•\tThe ideal candidate must be able to work in a high performance multidisciplinary environment with tremendous focus on decision making and accountability.•\tAdherence, acceptance and understand of the company core values and Mission Statement is a requirement.•\tThe individual must be a US citizen or US person holding a Green Card without restrictions due to export laws.•\tRating of 3 or better on most recent Performance Appraisal and Good Attendance record and proven team player.•\tPossesses a stable work history, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and a strong personal desire to work safely and maintain a safe working environment.•\tDemonstrates a strong customer focus along with a great work ethic and willingness to do what needs to be done (without taking shortcuts.)•\tDemonstrated knowledge of basic math, including working with decimals, and strong mechanical aptitude.•\tPossesses a logical method of problem solving and willingness to learn and improve one's skills.•\tDemonstrates a strong commitment to meet and exceed customer requirements at all times.•\tMust be able to work required overtime that can be substantial during peak customer production periods.•\tPossesses good hand-eye coordination and is able to perform detailed work with a strong attention to detail and quality.•\tGains satisfaction from team accomplishments and takes pride in one's contributions.•\tSets high expectations and achieves results.•\tAble to lift up to 40 pounds, perform repetitious duties and walk or stand for long periods of time on a daily basis.•\tMinimum: High School Diploma or equivalent; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.•\tPerforms other duties and assists with project work as assigned by management.thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. is a world class manufacturer of suspension solutions headquartered in Hamilton, Ohio USA. thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America supplies products to a wide range of Original Equipment Automotive Manufacturers as well as Aftermarket and Motorsports.Business Area Automotive Technology
