Job Description:
PURPOSE:
Individual will perform tasks related to general clerical functions as related to Accounts Payable, HR, Payroll, Billing and Customer Service for Rock Hill, Waynesville (NC) and Augusta (GA) plants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all required duties and tasks in accordance with the company’s accounting policies and financial control procedures
Administer and Prepare all data necessary to process the hourly payroll on a weekly basis
Coordinate and submit all payroll information to the corporate payroll department in a timely manner
Generate all necessary payroll reports and distribute appropriately
Assist in the development, implementation, evaluation and distribution of ongoing HR policies, programs, functions and activities. These include, but are not limited to, benefits, onboarding process for new hires, timekeeping, handbooks, job descriptions, performance appraisal systems, and compensation plans.
Maintain multiple reports related to payroll for tracking to administer all pertinent employee policies. This would include but not be limited to vacations, attendance, points related to absences, vacation and time off approvals, FMLA, STD, safety shoes, safety glasses, holidays, birthdays.
Input new hires, job progressions and other personnel information into the Kronos system
Manage training progression system and related record keeping
Track and administer monthly safety participation, training and record keeping requirements
Coordinate, reconcile and submit customer billing and credit memo data to corporate accounting on a daily and monthly basis.
Support the month end closing process as needed.
Support Management team on Credit Card tracking/reconciliation and other clerical duties.
Serve as CSR during vacations and absences.
Perform support functions for the Maintenance Department.
Support the overall business, as needed, including paper consumption and receiving, recut plant billing and monthly notifications for all colleagues.
Qualification/Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or College degree preferred.
2 or more years’ experience in customer relations and human resources preferred.
Knowledge of general Human Resource practices such as laws, policies and procedures.
Must have ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Is punctual and reports for work as scheduled to ensure office coverage as indicated by facility manager.
Ability to think critically, solve problems, and act with good judgment is essential.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Must be organized and detail oriented
Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to be patient and maintain professionalism required.
Must be able to manage time efficiently and effectively.
Must have proficient computer skills plus Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
