Job Description:

As a senior leader in CIB Application Engineering and Architecture group, you will combine your years of proven expertise with a never-ending quest to create innovative technology through solid engineering practices. You'll lead a highly inspired and inquisitive team of technologists who are already developing and deploying applications to the highest standards. With your deep knowledge of Cloud native application design, Infrastructure as a code and cutting edge Devops practices, your team will raise their game even more, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. You will lead build cutting edge platforms and solutions that accelerate the modernization of the Chase Investment Banking applications. You are expected to leverage your experience in technology transformations and cloud migration to guide the application teams to make the right technology choices and build platforms that make it super easy to transform their applications into true cloud native 12-factor applications. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Mastery of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Command of architecture, design and business processes
• Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
• Expertise in working in in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
• We are looking for a strong people leader, talent magnet and big thinker
• Experienced in technology transformations and migration to one or more Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Handson experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) tools and platforms available across AWS, Azure and GCP is a must
• Deep expertise in one or more cloud native databses such as MySql, MariaDB, Redshift, Snowflake, etc is highly desired.
• Demonstrated track record in building platforms and tools that accelerate technology transformations is required
• Experience with Cloud Foundry and VMWare is a plus
