TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Analytics
* Ensure the effectiveness of Book Price
* Identify & drive for solutions for low margin business
* Monitor agreement performance
* Identify and investigate transactional pricing leakage
* Use advanced analytics to identify problem and opportunity
* Develop/improve reporting on metrics
* Explore next level Pricing areas (i.e. competitive analysis, A.I., cross-functional data integration, etc.)

Strategy
* Define process and drive system optimization (TEOA)
* Define strategy and KPI that aligns with business objectives and market dynamics
* Manage balance between price improvement and transactional execution
* Playbooks/Strategy key customers/products

Communication
* Presentation skills
* Balancing Stakeholders (Sales, PM, Customers, Finance)
* Ability to simplify and communicate complicated tasks
* Influence without authority
* Excel / PPT skills - charts and graphs
* Able to summarize and distill information - telling the story
* Email written messages
* Ability to explain the process
* Communication - peer to peer, cross functional
* Primary Regional communication
* Communicate stakeholders: Sales, PM, Finance Customers- indirect, Customer Service

Market/ Customer/ Product
* Segmenting of industries and customers
* Applying market/supply chain insights and rules into pricing decisions
* Making recommendations for pricing opportunities

o Development of talent - succession readiness WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD LOOK LIKE:

4-year degree required in economics, finance, statistics, business, MBA preferred
6+ years of experience in pricing or equivalent type role
5+ years of experience as people leader or equivalent leadership role
Project management/lean six sigma experience is preferred.
