Smiths Medical is hiring a Receiver at our Olive Branch, MS Distribution Center.

The Receiver\'s primary responsibility shall be to check in and locate the finished goods coming into the distribution center. This person shall be responsible for accurately completing all receiving documentation and/or all system entries. The Receiver will be responsible for performing other warehouse tasks as assigned by the Lead, Team Lead, Operations Supervisor, or the Distribution Center Manager.

* Receive product from vendors, production and sterilization, following all ISO guidelines. Unload trucks, count products and document damages. Separate products by part number, verify lot numbers and prepare products for stocking.

* Participate in the monthly inventory count programs. Counts reflect a high degree of accuracy and are processed in a timely manner

* Complete all inventory transfers from Incoming locations to stock locations using scanners.

* Operate material handling equipment in a safe manner, following all training and procedural guidelines. As required, complete the daily Fork truck Inspection document.

* Complete other duties as assigned by the Lead, Team Lead, Operations Supervisor or the Distribution Center Manager

* Secondary Education (High School) or GED preferred

* Previous related work experience preferred.

* Competent math skills and legible handwriting are a requirement

* Previous material handling experience is a plus.

* This person shall be trained on all functions of the Company s primary business system that are applicable to the position of Receiver
