Education: B.S. Degree From Accredited University.
Pay: $100.00 Per Hour To $120.00 Per Hour On A W2 Contract Rate
Security Clearance Level: Final Active Secret Clearance.
Minimum Years Of Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an agile practitioner (e.g. Scrum Master, Product Owner) + Minimum 1 year of practical experience training, coaching, mentoring and/or consulting on agile practices and metrics.
Note: Must have at least one agile certification.
Basic Required Qualifications:
Breadth of experience in a variety of agile practices (Lean, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
Experience using Agile Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. Jira, VersionOne, Rally, etc.)
Knowledgeable of new/emerging practices and coaching techniques (attendance and participation at conferences, user groups, speaking engagements, blogging, etc.)
Strong prioritization skills; ability to focus on what drives the most value
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
Ability to effectively and efficiently perform the responsibilities described below

Key Job Responsibilities:
Effort will be a team environment collaboration
Understand the team roles and responsibilities and coach the team on how workflows through the system
Coach teams and management on how to apply lean/agile principles to maximize the flow of value and ensure alignment to the organization's goals
Coach the team on the use of agile practices and tools and the execution of agile ceremonies (e.g. Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Scrum meetings, etc), keeping the team focused on the iterative and incremental delivery of value
Guide teams in the execution of the delivery workflow; coach the team on how to interlock with other teams with regards to backlog items, as well as ceremonies.
Coach teams on the agile requirement approaches (e.g. Story/Feature/Epic hierarchy)
Coach the team on how to define user stories (delivery teams deliver user stories)
Coach teams and management on how to use collected metrics as basis for making specific improvements and for demonstrating progress to stakeholders
Assess a team's agile maturity and review the results with the team, coaching them on specific improvements for improving the assessment results
Guide the team in the capture of practices, policies, etc. that enable them to work more effectively and efficiently as a team
Additional Notes:
The coach shall also perform the following if the team is part of a broader agile transformation (if applicable):
Collaborate with transformation leadership team to support the execution of the transformation plan; develop and maintain a rolling detailed coaching plan in partnership with the transformation leadership team
Ensure the team delivers value to its ecosystem and that its backlog is integrated and aligned with other backlogs in the ecosystem (e.g., if the team delivers user stories, those user stories support any parent features; if the team delivers features, those features support any parent epics and are supported by child user stories; if the team delivers epics, those epics are supported by child features)
Provide feedback on agile best practices and tool guidance to the transformation leadership team
Desired Skills:
The following are some additional desired Delivery Team Coach skills:
Experience implementing agile in environments that include embedded software or in hardware
Experience performing technical coaching on DevOps/DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, or Test-Driven Development
Knowledge of product development processes (e.g. Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Test, or Software Engineering Life Cycle)
BS in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Applicable Science degree
Experience with process maturity models (e.g. Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) model..
