What will I be doing?

The Director, Lifestyle Category Brand Hospitality & Development will be both a strategic partner and hands on doer - working with the category team and Global Heads to provide support in areas of projects, initiatives, and brand activities across all Lifestyle brands. You will focus on the execution of the strategic vision of the category and will be responsible for ensuring the projects and programs are activated with hotels and developers/owners. The role will be dedicated to ongoing efforts to engage and increase performance at the hotels and will require rolling up your sleeves. Interested? Read on!


  • Advise on all areas of brand management including BPS and matrix to activate product and service improvement (utilizing SALT, CRM, and Tableau) and work with other internal departments to coordinate direction and support as needed.

  • Work with hotels on performance management of metrics, trends, and triage of hotel new openings, ramp, and mature assets – including partnership with key partners.

  • Provide internal support to various teams in activating sales and performance initiatives, brand level culture activities, and F&B projects/programming.

  • Ongoing refreshment of existing brand materials – reviewing with responsible teams for PIPs, New Openings, QA Audits, and operational efficiency.

  • Project and program management of brand initiatives including definition new programs and refinement of existing programs based on category imperatives and strategy.

  • Handle the end-to-end implementation of projects/programs for all Brands in the category.

  • Responsible for prioritizing projects including complexities of balancing multiple outstanding tasks in a matrix interdepartmental environment.

  • Coordinate awareness and assist with the deployment of brand related tools, training, programs and resources, including current and future brand standards and budget assumptions.

  • Act as a main contact for hotel management, management companies and owners regarding the brand positioning and philosophy, standards, programs, and support departments.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:


  • Eight (8) years of related professional experience

  • Six (6) years of working in Hospitality Experience with Field-level hotel operations

  • Experience in above-level property support (brand/corporate level)

  • Experience in translating brand initiatives and strategies into operational programs

  • 30% travel

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:


  • Ten (10) years of Hotel Operations experience
