Performs duties associated with operating, troubleshooting and changing over the depalletizer and filler equipment as well as collecting and testing samples required for batch compliance.

Duties:
• Monitor the depalletizer for can defects
• Ensure continuous flow of cans into the filler room
• Troubleshoot the depalletizer, online testing equipment and to an extent the filler machine
• Perform any necessary change-overs on the various pieces of equipment
• Replenish packaging components as needed
• Perform on-line checks and collect samples to verify batch compliance
• Perform assigned preventative maintenance on equipment in assigned area
• Assist in other areas as assigned during change-overs and clean ups
• Complete all necessary paperwork and inventory transactions
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
• Perform various cleaning functions as necessary
• Must be able to use independent judgement and work well within a team concept

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment
• 1-3 yrs of experience operating machinery
