Provides analytical support for client-facing requests and presentations, as well as ad-hoc analytics for internal customers. Will work collaboratively with Account Management, Clinical Operations Management and Finance leadership to drive strategic decision-making within the assigned market/business segment. Responsible for the design, documentation, development and rollout of financial, clinical and utilization-based analyses.
Works with Account Management and Client Analytic Leads to assess, define, and develop reporting deliverables to meet client requirements.
Uses SQL Server and MS Excel to create recurring and ad hoc queries, analyses, graphs and metrics in support of those deliverables, which will vary in length and complexity.
Uses authorization data subject matter expertise and analytics for identifying current and historical trends and reporting.
Responsible for identifying cost efficiency and quality improvement opportunities using data.
Interprets results and prepares data findings in an easily understandable format for varying levels of the organization.
Proactively informs leadership of emerging experience, patterns, and potential risks.
Identifies trends and data anomalies that warrant investigation and performs the necessary analytic research to support resolution.
Leads and supports changes and enhancements to our analytical capabilities, continually improving the actionable intelligence we get from the data and how efficiently we produce that intelligence.
Collaborates with Informatics to continually improve standardized reporting and dashboard capabilities and efficiency.
Ensures that analytics are accurate, timely, documented and prioritized appropriately.Provides thorough and constructive QA and peer reviews.
Provides oversight and direction to employees through influence.Creates a spirit of teamwork and collaboration both within the team and across business units.

Responsibilities
8+ years of related analytical and/or consulting experience in healthcare.
Requires strong expertise in MS Excel and working with SQL Server relational databases.
Ability to write, develop and troubleshoot complex queries using Transact-SQL.
Possesses strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills, with experience working as a liaison between technical and non-technical groups.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills while sharing complex healthcare analytic data.
Ability to forge effective business relationships across organizations, functional groups and levels.
Analytics experience in managed care environment is preferred.
Experience in Qlikview, Tableau or similar business intelligence tools a plus.
