What will you be doing at Woodard & Curran?

Responsible for maintenance and repair of water piping and appurtenances.

• Repair water lines, service lines, valves, hydrants and other appurtenances.


• Operates a variety of heavy equipment included excavators, track loaders, wheel loaders, vac-trucks and backhoes.


• Welds and fabricates parts and tools


• Assists with responding to and resolving customer complaints


• Repairs streets, driveways and yards following installation operations


• Performs related duties


• Required to be in the on-call rotation

What will you need to succeed?

• High School diploma or equivalent.


• Minimum of 1-year relevant experience or combination of education and experience may be considered.


• Knowledge of the repair, maintenance and installation of distribution systems


• Knowledge of the operation and preventative maintenance of a variety of equipment


• Skilled in the use of a variety of hand and power tools


• Skilled in oral and written communication


• DS I minimum or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months.


• Class A preferred / Class B with Air Brakes
